Minus Zero is a Winter Sport and Music Festival that started 4 years ago in Los Angles California. Minus Zero is a unique festival experience unlike any other in the world. Where else can you hit the slopes and ski right into the stage area while your favorite artist is performing and then head back to your cabin with your crew. When it first launched in LA artists like Jamie Jones and Lee Burridge headlined. From there we moved to the East coast and In April 2016 Minus Zero held its inaugural Vermont festival at Stratton Resort in Vermont with deadmau5 and Kaskade headlining. The Festival became an instant mainstay in the state and festival Circuit. Minus Zero marks the start of Festival Season for many people.
In 2017 attendance more than doubled, artists like Bassnectar, Griz and Zeds headed played to a sold out crowd. 2017 also marked the first year that the festival held the rail jam stunt competition. A new stage was added in 2017 that brought in underground artists like Behrouz, Claptone, Three and Serge Devant. The Summit stage atop the Mountain has became an attraction where guests can see 60 miles out while listening to some great music with the most amazing people on Earth.
In 2018 Minus Zero has moved to the world famous Mount Snow; a new larger festival site that will better accommodate this growing Festival. Mount Snow is located in Southern Vermont in the Green Mountains. It is Vermont’s closest big mountain to the North Eastern Metropolitan areas. Mount Snow is a skiers dream since it is home to the East Coast’s first All Park Mountain Face, Carinthia at Mount Snow is home to nine parks both with Natural and man made Ski features. Mount snow was home to the inaugural edition of the World Famous X-Games in 1995 which nearly 500,000 people attended so they are certainly no stranger to large scale events. Our new home allows us to have larger stage areas, some additional environments as well as room for art installations, more food and craft vendors and more guest amenities. Minus Zero 2018 will be on April 7th & 8th with kick off parties on Friday Night of April 6th.
