A stunning view of Mt. Mansfield forms the background of Mills Riverside Park. This scenic vista is preceded by broad open meadow and is sharply defined by forested South Hill.
Mills Riverside Park encompasses 216 acres of open meadow and wooded hillside with a stunning view of Mt. Mansfield. Over six miles of trail provide non-motorized, recreational opportunities year round. A beautiful post and beam pavilion offers park visitors an area for relaxing away from inclement weather. The pavilion can be reserved for special occasions.
The Lauryn Ashley Stockdale Memorial Fields encompass nine acres of meadow and are available for scheduled athletic play along with general enjoyment. A large pond and the scenic Browns River further enhance the park and offer fishing opportunities. Dog owners will find several acres of “off leash” running area in the park’s eastern meadow. Beyond the rich diversity of this extraordinary land and opportunities to enjoy it, Mills Riverside Park also provides important wildlife habitat for many species.
