Nice old school Vermont ski area. We hit this in Spring, and subsequently got rained out the first day. The conditions the next day were surprisingly good. Overall, the mountain has a little bit of something for everyone. The Greens were green, the Blues were blue, and the Blacks were definitely black. As we were there for a family weekend, I'l focus my review on that. To be honest, this mountain got a bit boring for my kids, who were pretty much limited to one main trail with some options off it. The left lift (the only one that accesses novice trails) puts you on the summit. From there, you have three choices - head right for expert terrain, head straight down the middle (which requires a really steep start) or go left onto the main Green trail. My son (14) loved the blues, but my girls (9,12) were limited to the green mainline. If I was here without them, or felt comfortable leaving them to their own devices, I'm sure I could have kept happily busy all day on the black side. The lodge was perfectly serviceable, though certainly dated...errr...retro. The staff was outrageously nice. Prices were good for VT, but not necessarily a bargain. Would I go

Laid back, sunny, casual, fun and closest to private ski experience. Never overly crowded, lift lines really aren’t a thing. Great trail variety and enough lifts so that it’s never busy feeling. Obviously great for families and big groups.

I love the family atmosphere and the service. Smaller and more intimate than the other resorts. Less crowded. Great lodge with decent food. Great maintenance of the trails. I'm a musician so when I play resorts I get free lift tickets. When I have to pay in Vermont I always go to Bromley. It's a really nice place.

In the past Bromley was a great family ski resort. Great for kids... incredible ski school. The base lodge is old, dingy, dirty and cold. In the summer you can enjoy the Alpine Slide (take it from me, don't go too fast, you can go flying off!) and other rides like the Zip Line and climbing wall. Another former Green Mountain gem that isn't what it used to be :(

Killer snow, enough coverage to get in the trees. Patrol opened up a few runs that had been closed all year. Both quads running, zero lift lines. Great day on the hill, and darn good choc. chip cookies.
