11:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Masterclass - Cello

Masterclasses provide an insightful forum for the audience to witness a master teacher working closely with the 2019 MMF Young Artists. Each participating YA will perform solo selections, and the guest teacher will guide the student through a thorough process of improving all aspects of that performance. The class will aim to address technical challenges, strengthen interpretive decisions, and provide inspiration for the student to attain his/her optimum level of performance.

1:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Masterclass - Violin

Ludwig van Beethoven: Sonata No. 9 in A Major for Violin & Piano, Op. 47 "Kreutzer"
Hye-Jin Kim, violin
Adam Neiman, piano

Artistic Director Adam Neiman invites the community to join him and featured guest Hye-Jin Kim, violin for a recital and short Q&A. These recitals are free and open to the public to come experience wonderful chamber music.
